Baby Euanne Dones

MOTHER: Jenny Anne T. Dones,
19 years old. Hails from Masbate. Just
graduated with B.S. Nutrition degree,
also from U.P.

Now three-and-half-months old, and still languishing at the Intensive Care Unit of the Philippine General Hospital, Manila.

July 20, 2002:
Baby Euanne Dones was born by caesarian section from St. Jude’s Hospital, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines at about 9 o’clock in the morning. She was immediately confined at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital due to breathing & swallowing difficulty. (trunkline: (49) 536-1232)
July 24, 2002:
At dawn, Baby Euanne was transferred to the ICU (tel: 525-6625) of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), Manila for much-needed facilities.
July 27, 2002:
Baby Euanne was transferred to the ICU of Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC trunkline: (63-2) 924-6601), Quezon Avenue, Quezon City for scheduled series of major operation and the care of doctor-specialists. She underwent bronchoscopy and tracheostomy on the 29th of July.
Aug. 30, 2002:
Baby Euanne was discharged from PCMC.
Sept. 4, 2002:
Baby Euanne was re-admitted at the PCMC due to infection. Another major operation (fundoplication and gastrostomy) was done on September 23, 2002.
Oct. 4, 2002:
Baby Euanne was again discharged from PCMC.
Oct. 7, 2002:
Baby Euanne was rushed to the ICU of nearby Ospital ng Makati (trunkline: (63-2) 882-6316; with tertiary facilities) due to breathing difficulty. Her condition deteriorated until the 5th day
Oct. 12, 2002:
Baby Euanne was transferred to PGH for better facilities. Until now she is still confined at its Intensive Care Unit. (ICU tel: (63-2) 525-6625)
