Sunog sa Oroquieta Duol sa SCC

.. a fire broke out in the commercial district of poblacion 2, oorquieta city. It was around 11 pm, i was already sleeping by that time when i heard someone in the outside shouting "sunog, SCC na sunog". i immidiately woke and check if it true, them i saw a huge fire in the old building of the Southern Capital Colleges. I went back to my room and change to my rescue uniform and get some gears. I text the vice mayor and the Red Cross Emergency Response Team, then i went outside, still fire fighters still did not arrived.

I went to the house of the Atienza and Repollo's residence occupants and knock their door. the fire is so huge and i can really felt the flame even im 30 meters away. then the first firetruck arrived, i think their are only 4 fireman in the truck, while the 3 are busy in the truck me and fire officer russel te with one hose each went to attack the fire at the school but later on we found out the the nearby house of the morales was starting to burn. fire officer te, whos residence is also in front of the SCC and beside the house of the Morales went inside to his house to protect his home. we moved in but when in 10 minutes fire officer te's residnce was starting to burn. sad to say that by that time we ran out of water, so went out and open the hyrrant but no pressure on it. so fire officer te has nothing to do but told his family to evacuate. WALA SILAY NADALA BISAG ISA. I salute to russel te, even his house is burning he still doing his job as a fireman.

(Around 12:30pm I went back to my house to pack and start evacuating because the fire already spreading very fast. After securing my things, I went back to the scene again.) Then the react firefighting team arrived, by the time the house of Yokuya is now burning at the top, we went it with tommy bualat and told the owner of the OKAY2x to help us move the okay2x outside but the fire easily engulfs the house. then it spread to the atieza's residence, then to the repollos, going to malinis hause where in the first floor an LPG store was located going to the houses of the malinis and coronel where the fire was put out by atleast 7 fire fighting unit to prevent it spreading around 2:00pm. (Petronas LPG store also blew but no one was hurt); other area was starting to caught fire are the residence of the Enerios, Tan and Peralta. It was the help of one fire truck that save before it spreads to the Flores residence and the Bayutas whos house is made of Nipa and light materials. The fire was controlled around 1:30 in that area.

Another area was on fire was Orowealth store but was easily put off by Firefighters, the fire is going to the Petron Gas station. Fighfighters from Tubod,lanao norte, tangub city, ozamiz city, tudela, clarin, Plaridel and Calamba responded the call. Here are some list of prominent establishments that caught the fire: Orowealth, Te Lumber, Southern Capital Colleges, Jaki Barber Shop, Petronas Gas, Atienza Store, 2 okay2x stores, Ken Printing Press, Viscount Clother, Seerucker Original, a Photo Studio, a store own by the roferos-regalado, cellfone repair shop.

Here are some list of prominent residents that caught the fire. TE, MORALES (2), YOKUYA, TAN, ENERIO’S compound, MALINIS (2), ATIENZA, REPOLLO, CORONEL, more than 10 families who are renting was also affected. Most of the residence ‘GAMAY RA ANG NA SAVE DUE TO PANIC KY MURA JUD UG IMPERNO ANG SUNOG." The area is declared a calamity area by the Government yesterday. the fire was totally controlled around 3am. but last night the BFP and React are still clearing the area.
